Hundreds of Volunteer Hours
For over 25 years, The Osseo Lions Roar has been one of the area’s largest celebrations. Not only is it the Osseo Lions biggest fundraiser, it is truly a way of saying thank-you to the surrounding communities, the retailers, and the people of Osseo.
Many volunteers devote hundreds of hours every year to plan, develop and put on Osseo’s largest event. 100% of the net funds earned from the “Roar” go to support everything from the Boy Scouts to the Senior Citizens. From the elementary school Turkey Bingo to the Cross Food Shelf. Literally scores of people benefit from the support given by the Osseo Lions.
We Can’t Do It Alone
Without the support of individuals and professionals like you the “Roar” just could not happen. The cost of a multitude of expenses would simply prohibit putting on the long running celebration of the area.
Our largest expenses fall into three categories... Entertainment, Parade, and Fireworks.
Just to have a high-school marching band will cost $500 or more plus a short 20 minute fireworks display can cost upwards of $3000. As you can see the expenses soon outweigh any profit we may realize.
